Passport Services

City Hall is a recognized passport acceptance facility. Services are offered between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and days when ample staff is not available to assist with this service.

New Passports:

Services for new passports are provided by appointment only. It is important to visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html to download online application forms and to obtain details about fees and important document requirements, including photocopies, that are necessary to complete the application process. Contact the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 for questions about document requirements.

You will need a certified U.S. birth certificate or proof of U.S. citizenship, proof of identity and two (2) recent 2″x 2″ photographs. The Clerk’s office can provide photos at $15.90 per applicant. US. Department of State fees must be paid by check or money order. Processing and picture fees are separate and can be paid by cash, check or credit card.

Passport Renewals:

Passport renewals must be handled directly with the U.S. Department of State. Visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html to download the renewal application form and to obtain details about fees and important documents required for your direct submittal to the Department of State.

The Clerk’s office can assist with renewal photos at $15.90 per applicant.

Note: Passports for minors cannot be processed as a renewal. Minors must obtain a new passport.

Lost or Stolen Passports:

Lost or stolen passports must be reported. To replace a lost or stolen passport, you must apply for a new passport. Visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/lost-stolen.html for details.

Passports for Minors:

Passports for minors cannot be processed as a renewal. Minors must obtain a new passport.
